I am 14, and I need to have a schedule. I am really bad at this kind of stuff. I am homeschooled and my parents want me to finish up 9th grade this summer so I can do tenth grade and be a grade ahead at the beginning of the school year. Anyways here is stuff I need on it.
5 hours school
1 hour practicing basketball
30 min turbo jam (working out)
2 hours delivering flowers (I work my own
hours, just sometime in the morning)
7-8 hours sleep
1 hour from 8-9 to watch my favorite t.v show
2 hours chores
About 30 min a meal to eat
I think thats about it...I need help puting that into a schedule that will work. I always end up not getting stuff done. I am sooo far behind on homework. Any good scedule ideas I will give a try. Thanks!
Write me a schedule!?
Here's one that might work for you. You lead an active lifestyle girl, be sure you make time for yourself just to relax, maybe on the weekends or something!
7:00am-7:30-breakfast
7:35-8:00-dressed showered for the day
8:00-10:am-deliver flowers
10:30-4:00 school (extra half an hour added in there for lunch)
4:00-6:00pm-chores
6:00-6:30-workout
6:30-7:30-practice basketball
Between 7:30-8:00 eat supper, shower
8-9-watch favorite tv show
9-11pm. free time (homework or relaxing)
11-7 sleep
edit:the time between 10 and 10:30 is getting home from your job, and getting your school supplies out, ready to go, etc.
Reply:ya know, I have read this several times and instead of seeing a nicely worded question about homeschooling, all I see is a demand.
Reply:Maybe its because I tend to be a very straightforward, even blunt, person myself, but I didn't pick up any rudeness in your question, just frustration.
I don't think anyone can write your schedule for you exactly with out knowing exactly how long each subject takes you. But this might work.
5:30 rise, eat breakfast, workout
6:45 Shower, dress, hair, make-up
7:30 Schoolwork for 2 hours
9:30 Flower deliveries for 2 hours
11:30 Part of your chores
12:00 Lunch
12:30 more chores
1:00 Two more hours school work
3:00 Practice Basketball
4:00 One more hour school work
5:00 finish chores
6:00 Dinner
7:00 Planning for the next day's studies, plus free time.
8:00-9:00 Your T.V. show
9:00 Get ready for bed
9:30 Get to sleep, you only have 8 hours before it starts again!
Of course this doesn't leave a lot of goof-off time, but you are working and schooling at the same time and that is always demanding, be sure to give yourself a day or two off each week!
Edit:
You might notice I break things up a little, some chores her, schoolwork there. I find it works best for me to do that so I don't tire so quickly of one activity, however, you could easily write up a schedule that lumps all school work into the middle of the day with the exception of lunch... lumps workout with basketball, all chores together, etc.
Reply:You know your schedule better than we do!
Up at 7 or 8. Geometry first thing. Then flowers. Then home and Biology 1, then lunch and you watch Discovery or Science or History channel while eating a long lunch.
Then read a good book for an hour. Then study history for an hour. Then write for an hour.
Then do chores
Then eat dinner
Then do some more reading or writing until TV
Maybe re-write something.
Maybe write something with the idea of submitting it for publication.
Reply:Although you do sound a bit frustrated, first you may want to consider changing your tone of voice, and learn to ask for assistance nicely.
A demanding attitude, and unnecessary language in any question, or response to someones answer are definite no no's.
Instead of anyone providing you with a schedule, they may want to point out to you that your parents, and you need to set your schedule, and that it is your responsibility to adhere to it.
It is a choice plain, and simple.
Even if anyone does provide you with a schedule, it will be of no use if you do not make it work.
I remember a similar question being posted recently, did you ask this question once before?
Good Luck.
Edit: It was nice of you to realize that.
Posting the question on other forums like polls %26amp;surveys is no going to net you much more advice, since no one can schedule your life but you, you have to take responsibility for your choices to either do your work, or not.!
Reply:OK, I copied and pasted part of my answer to another student for you.
Here it is:
I have been using a system that helps me accomplish my own goals, and I think it just might help you. Here is a link:

Print off this little booklet and fill it in. Ask your parents to help if you need it. Change the parts to don't apply to you and write in what does apply. The best one to manage your time is YOU. This will help you create a schedule you can live with, and if something doesn't work, you can change it later. I want you to be empowered to take charge of your own needs.
Remember, Dorothy had the ruby slippers from the very beginning of her journey through Oz. She just didn't know she could use them.
