Legal options??

My best mate is being bombarded wi' texts frae a wee guy who she met only a couple o' times. She can get up to seventy texts per day. This eejit says he loves her and cannot live withoot her. He's already hud a garden shed delivered tae her and numerous flowers. She has tried tae be nice and told him that she izznae interested. It's now gettin' quite scary. Does she huv any legal stuff that she can do tae get rid o' this freak?? The police huv already spoken tae him, half an hour later, he wiz back Textin' !!! Cheers fur any advice..

Legal options??
Your obviously a Scottish lass like ma self, kin ye no get a boy ye know tae give him a wee visit? The Polis winnae do f all till he goes for her which is nae use tae man nor beast. She kin try tae git a court order but he kin breach it, might get him lifted though. If he is a nutter get a solicitor.
Reply:I have a way to block text's on my phone. Have your friend look on her phones options and see if they can be blocked. I have a razor from Verizon if that helps.
Reply:Hiya Jock. Give him a good pasting. Great win today.
Reply:get a restrainng order
Reply:I agree, change the number, block the text or get a restraining order.
Reply:She needs tae chuck her sim card!

A garden shed??????????? FFS, she should sell it on ebay! LOL, What sort of Fing weirdo sends someone a garden shed????? Maybe he likes Oor Wullie, next it'll be a bucket and a pair o black dungarees! LMFAO
Reply:She should contact the network provider and ask them to block his number. I believe they're required to comply if requested, so keep pushing it.

I want to get a birthday cake made and sent to my daughter who is working in Sydney, anyone know if I can?

My daughter is currently working in Sydney and she`s 33 next week and we would like to get a cake made and delivered to her instead of flowers. We have made a search on the net but have drawn a blank so far.Any help would be appreciated as this will be her first birthday away from any of her family and friends. Thanks in advance.

I want to get a birthday cake made and sent to my daughter who is working in Sydney, anyone know if I can?
It is very easy to get this done.

The Cheesecake Shop is fantastic and have a range of products covering a wide array such as mudcakes, tortes, specialty cakes, desserts and pavlovas, baked and continental cheesecakes and savouries.

The closest one is in Penrith, but I called and they don't deliver, but the one in Emu Plains (nearby) will deliver. They usually don't deliver for under $50/1 cake, but I explained that you were ordering from the UK and they said that will be fine.

So, just go to the website, choose your cake, then call them. You can pay using credit card. They are very reputable and have stores all over the country.

Reply:Hi there! I am a cake decorator and sugarcraft enthusiast and belong to The British Sugarcraft Guild - this is a group of people throughout the UK who all have a love of all things sugar! We make cakes and sugarflowers and much more besides... We are a group of people who do it for fun, for family and friends, as a small business or indeed large commercial venture.

Coming to the point now.... thanks for bearing with me! There is a similar group in Australia called Australia National Cake Decorators Association. I have tried to check on the net for their homepage but was re-directed to:

http://www.cakedirectory.com/cakemuseum/...

If you go to this and go to contact area and put your enquiry to them. I'm sure they will be able to put you in touch with someone in the area near to your daughter.

You will be able to get a truly unique cake from this source I'm sure.

Good luck!
Reply:The Sydney Pink Pages http://www.sydneypinkpages.com.au/search... lists a few hundred bakers. Have a word with the closet baker to your daughter to see if they will bake and deliver. Don't try to deliver a cake from the UK because it may go off before it gets to Oz and Aussie Customs don't like foodstuffs entering the country.
Reply:well one solution to the problem is if you can get hold of a cake maker in australia, order it from them and see if they do a delivery service..ive found one link here you can have a look at http://www.bcl.com.au/shop/birthday.htm
Reply:I'm assuming that you want the cake to be made here in Australia :) Now both the places I have provided links for can be a little on the pricey side but you will definitely get your moneys worth as their work is EXCELLENT. Plus, from the way you've worded your question, it sounds to me like you want to WOW your daughter and let her know that she is in your thoughts.

I hope this is what you're looking for
Reply:What she said.
Reply:Annie D is generally speaking correct, but it just might be that somewhere like Harrods has had their produce accepted by Australian Quarantine %26amp; Customs for import.

Other than that, get onto the web and start looking for Sydney suppliers.
Reply:Afraid not

Australian Authorities won't allow ANY foodstuffs over their borders, they'll confiscate it in Customs.

Try to find a Bakery in Sydney who will deliver, that would be your best bet.

What is a sure fire way to win my mans heart back?

Basically, I wanted to be with him all of the time and so did he at first, but then of course he wanted to do little things apart, and at the time i didnt want to be apart from him. we argued probably once a week for 2 months after he moved in, and then he suddenly quit his job and moved back to where he lived, 2 hours away. I still love him so much, and i know that he's gotta still love me. we've been on a break for almost two weeks, and i am going crazy without him. I wrote him a 7 page email professing my love and apologizing for everything that went on, and told him that i realized that i was in the wrong. i am going to send that to him on monday, as well as i am also sending him a $100 flower bouquet to be delivered at his work on monday. do you think that plus the email, will be enough to win him back?????

What is a sure fire way to win my mans heart back?
I think that an e-mail would be sufficient enough, tell him your true feelings and that you are sorry and want to work things out, don't sound too desparate, and 7 pages wow, he might think that is too much and chances are with it being that long he may not even read it. I know if I received a 7 page letter I might read the first 2 pages, then put it down, not every body likes to read that much, just get to the point and if he turns you down, give him some space and if he really loves you, he will come around on his own. Forget the flowers, that is too much, try sending him a car instead! Good Luck!
Reply:A BJ would help too
Reply:A sure fire way is to give him the "space" he wants. It sucks to be without him I know but you must not continue to do what drove you two apart which is almost smother him... from what it sounds like. I hope you win him back.
Reply:If he doesn't accept, kick him in the crotch.

I don't see anyone who couldn't.

SEVEN PAGES.. lol
Reply:Who is chasing who here?
Reply:not to be rude, but whats the point...
Reply:girl, "he is just not into you".... read the book... i really think he is trying to move on... sorry
Reply:No. If he left, a 7 page email and flowers ain't gonna change it. You can do better (even though you don't want to hear it cause I never did) and you should move on. Trust me. I wasted 15 years on a relationship that I should have let go of. Do you want to be used? Find somebody who appreciates you. I swear.

Valentines Dinner. a) what should I wear and b) what should I get him?

This Thursday my boyfriend (18) is taking me (17) out for dinner. It's quite a nice Italian restaurant and there's going to be a live jazz band there etc. so I wanted to know what I should wear?

Secondly, I'm not sure whether or not I should get him a present. All sexual stuff is impossible as I'm at a boarding school and I'm lucky to be allowed to go to the dinner :P We have a pretty casual relationship (mainly, we spend most of our time playing xbox and watching southpark lol) so I was thinking of just getting him something stupid and random like a ridiculously oversized rubber duck (it's kinda cool, by this Australia designer and its baby blue with clouds on it with a bright orange beak...) and then a gerbera (big daisy-like flower) and have it delivered to his school. What do you think? If this sounds lame just say so but please suggest an alternative.

Thanks a bunch!

Valentines Dinner. a) what should I wear and b) what should I get him?
To wear. Think of Shania Twain's song "Men's shirts, short skirts" its subtle yet sexy.

To give him. Something to sleep with. Cute pillow with your perfume on it and a bottle of it so he refresh it when it fades.
Reply:Well wearing wise i think you should'nt be too dressy but dont just bother going in your old jeans and hoody, go for a nice skirt ( doesn't have to be mini )and a maybe a strappy top. . .

present??? ofcourse you should get him a present teddies are nice valentines presents mabe just give him a nice pic of you in a sweet frame or choccys!

Hope ive helped! :D x

Is Valentines day just a day to show off how popular you are?

The kids here at school get thousands of dollars worth of flowers and toys and balloons delivered to the school every year on Valentines Day. They pretty much force their parents to send them something so they will "look" loved. I feel so bad for the kids who get nothing. I wish this day would go away!!!!!

Is Valentines day just a day to show off how popular you are?
That's what I always thought when I was in school lol...It's a day to show off your love for another and for those who don't get anything it can be depressing I guess that's why I don't like Valentines. Maybe you should give those ppl who rarely get anything something! Give out candies, baked goodies, even a simple card!
Reply:My son told me the same thing last year on v-day. I don't understand why a loving parent would feel the need to have a gift delivered to the school??? I think your compassion for those who get nothing is a strong indication of your good character and I applaud you. Maybe you could get a box of the "kid" valentines and just hand them out to everyone who looks a little low tomorrow, you don't have to sign them or maybe sign them God or Jesus and as you hand them out tell the person "you are loved". That might be a bit corny but if I where to get one after never getting any I would think it was Great! God Bless You And Your Kind Heart!
Reply:okay you make no sence
Reply:I'm in my 40's so Valentines Day seems far different now than it used to be. During my Elementary and Junior years we didn't throw names in a hat or pick our own personal Valentines. We went to the card shop and bought a box that held enough Valentines cards to give each and every person a Valentines card. No two cards were the same, so that meant everyone got their own special card and no one was left out. Now, once we got to High School we felt we were too old for that, that's when we began giving Valentines that one special person.
Reply:Valentines day is pretty much just a couple holiday so ya most people hate because its a day that people show their love and brag that they're a couple. Those who are single tend to feel mad, angry, or sad on V-day. I guess it is one of those holidays that single people out

Help please?

I split with my gf just before christmas, i still love her and went to get her back, i think she still loves me too, the reason we split is because i was a lazy **** basicly i never took her out never got her anything an any bit of money i had i would spend it on a stupid dvd, but now ive changed and i want to take her places, shopping, out for meals, cinema, days out anywhere and holidays i could just go on an on where i would like to take her i have changed but she doesnt believe me, im buying her flowers tomoz and getting them delivered to work for her i know thats not enough, any advice, be as honest as possible even if it sounds nasty or a bit brutal ill still try an take it as advice, thanks poeple.

Help please?
There's no harm in trying to win back her affections, as long as you are prepared that you may end up looking a fool.

It's not just the material things and gifts that was missing in the relationship, ie. flowers, candy, fancy restaurants etc.

It's the want to want to show ur gf how much you love her and appreciate her.

You didn't do anything special for her before, because you didn't want to, simple as that.

Now, if you want to get her back, you have to make a grand gesture and then keep it up, of showing that you appreciate her every single day - are you prepared to work that hard?

And if so, ask yourself why you have to work at showing your appreciation? Maybe you don't reaaally love her, you just don't want to be without her cause you don't want to be single? Then that would be a really dumb reason for getting back together.

Showing her your affection and appreciation doesn't just have to be through gifts and fancy date only (but sometimes is good) you can listen to her and talk to her, really be interested in what she has to say, her opinions, and what she wants out of life. Give her massages and foot rubs, lots of hugs and kisses. Turn off the football or movie to spend time with her instead. Take her to the park for a picnic that you cooked yourself. Surprise her with your talents in the kitchen. Know her favourite flowers, colour, perfume, birthday etc.

At the end, if you don't really like doing all these things for her, or even just being genuinely interested in HER, then something is wrong and you shouldn't be wasting her time, or yours. Give it a go, without becoming obsessive or stalkery. If she lets you have a second chance, my advice is don't waste it and really appreciate her this time. If she doesn't, then you will just have to let her go and move on, chum. Work on yourself again and practice being single for a while. Make yourself more interesting by working out and developing hobbies and interests besides dvds, pizza and beer (stereotype, i know :oP) If she's not the one for you, you will find her eventually. Good luck x x x
Reply:If you were really that cheap and lazy she may think you broke up with her so you wouldn't have to get her a Christmas present.

I suggest dating. As in you invite her to go somewhere and do something (not just hang out) and you get to see her when she says yes. Keep trying to invite her places you think she'll like. Continue to do so even if you get back together.
Reply:How can you change in less then a month.Move on .

You give me a thumbs down. When your the one that didn't even come close to what really happened and how long you were working on changing.

Oh and one important part you left out to was, you didn't say you were engaged and together for 3 years
Reply:its a start....just be aman and admit you were wrong and she was right...but keep in mind if shes moved on your gonna have to deal with that too.
Reply:man just dont be lazy and take her to dates some movies that are romantic and horor man i wish the best of luck
Reply:Do you really want to be in a relationship where you have to continually *prove* your love.

You have told her you still love her.

She doesn't believe you.

Chances are she never will.

Things will seem a lot clearer with more time.
Reply:Good for you that you have realised you made a big mistake, but are you sure that the temporary shock of being dumped is not having a short time effect? It may be that if you do get together again , you may start to take her for granted after a while. The thing is, if you really love her, why would you treat her this way for 3 years? Doesn't sound like love, really. It's not surprising that she doesn't believe you. I f I were you I would take it very slowly. Don' t push to get back together straight away. See her as a friend, and treat her with respect and love. At least if she sees that you like being with her without an obvious agenda, she might start to take you seriously again. Don't overdo the gestures either, just really listen to her, support her and care for her. Sending flowers is easy, really loving someone is something much harder. She will know the difference.
Reply:A Leopard can not change it's spots. No one should try to change their personality, it goes against the grain and you end in turmoil. Were you always the same way, ie lazy and selfish, in this relationship, or were you different in the beginning and maybe your relationship got a bit stale. If you were more caring and sharing at first then yes go back to being just that, if you were the same then as now then I would say she accepted you for what you are and should not expect you to change now.
Reply:Hi .The way to do it is to date her once or twice a week ...With or without sex does not matter...But remember you are a free man date other girls as well ....But don't let her know about it .

Together for 3 years and she breaks up over something stuped ....I am sure that you relationship is far from perfect ...And that regular sex died like long ago...You acted that way towards her course that is what she brought out in you.Find your self that special girl that would bring out the best in you

Question for the ladies. . Valentine's Day?

Ok ladies, Would you prefer a man to personally delivery the flowers to you himself or delivered by a stranger? ? If you do it yourself, does it make you look cheap? ?

Question for the ladies. . Valentine's Day?
why don't you go see her, with empty hands (she will be wondering) and arange for the delivery guy to come by when you are there... when the guy knocks the door... maybe ask her (are you expecting some1?? grgrg) it happened to me on my bday and it made my heart jump with mixed emotions thinking he was angry, wondering which of my friends was stupid enough to show up right then etc then see the beautiful flowers and me saying his name absolutely surprised as he looked at me with his smirky smile, it was great for him too because he got to see my surprised reaction from a 3rd eye's perspective..

just a thought

Reply:personally delivered by my man. ; )
Reply:Delivered by the man himself it's more personal I think because he actually has to take the time to do it.

I wonder.....?

ever wonder how when you order flowers online etc to be delivered, how do they do it so fast isnt there a lot involved with it? i mean how do they come packaged etc?

I wonder.....?
The plants I've ordered have come packaged in a special plastic bag. The roots are moist and bare (no dirt). It came UPS if I recall. It really was not a big deal and all the plants I ordered did well once planted.

Or are you talking about cut flower arrangements? Those orders are called into a local florist who has a business relationship with the online company. They usually hand deliver those.
Reply:you buy from an on line service and they in turn buy from a local florist and have them deliver them to you. you are paying two people for one product.
Reply:The package was pre-arranged, you only insert fresh flowers. That's why it is fast. When you click the order button, it sent the order to the nearest area flower shop by area code. So it made it fast, too. :) Happy Valetine! That means a lot flowers.

Reply:It's not necessarily from a local florist, but sometimes is, depending on who you order from (FTD uses local florists but Amazon.com doesn't). There are (at least) two sources involved, however, and being that it's what they do, it's no surprise they get the job done. If they didn't they wouldn't be in business any longer.

Has anyone not received shipments ontime from 1-800FLOWERS.COM? PLEASE RESPOND, MAY FILE SUIT...?
sometimes there can be shipping problems and maybe UPS, FEDEX, or USPS lost your flowers or maybe they arent running on time
Reply:I will never use this service again! I ordered flowers for a funeral and they were never delivered! I placed the flowers 3 day before the funeral. The rep said I can be reimbursed 15%!!!! HECK NO!!!! I will be speaking with a manager/supervisor tomorrow!!!! Report It

Reply:They usually are a really good company so I'm surprised to hear that you are having such a hard time. As someone else has already stated the weather could be playing a big factor! Still 1-800 Flowers usually ships from a store within the locality of the area where the flowers were to be shipped to. So if you're in Florida, weather really should not have been a factor.

Just keep trying to get in touch with customer service. Perhaps look in your local phone book and find a 1-800 Flower store near you. They should list a local number. I would demand a total refund and maybe some other sort of recompense for your trouble! What a bummer on Valentines Day! I hope you get it all sorted out!

Take Care!
Reply:Gee....were the flowers being delivered somewhere where there was a blizzard/nor'easter yesterday??? ALL the flower delivery services had problems getting the flowers out because of the weather up and down the east coast, so I'm sure you're not the only one complaining.

What are some fun and different delivery ideas for Valentine's Day??

A co-worker recommended a chocolate covered giant fortune cookie, and I don't know if that's what I'm looking for but maybe something else along those lines thats different from just plain flowers or teddy bears getting delivered. Something fun!

What are some fun and different delivery ideas for Valentine's Day??
Have a teddy bear or chocolates delivered, but wear a red cap and a track suit and deliver it yourself to his place of work. Pretend you don't know him and just be a delivery girl. Go through the routine and say "Hi. Can you sign here please?... Here's your copy". If you're daring, wear an extraordinarily short skirt and a low cut top. Make your own invoice - " 1 x Teddy bear, 1 x Long Passionate Kiss (Delivery this evening)"

Finally, put at the bottom of the invoice "Our drivers cannot accept tips, but french kisses are always appreciated"
Reply:go to his door in a crotchless g string, apron, heals and and over coat. Knock on his door and when he opens it take off the trench coat and tell him your his waitress for the evening and your here to serve him. He'll never forget it.
Reply:There are several places that would be more than willing to deliver. I've found some unique idea's, that I love. The fortune cookie idea went over with ton's of raves. But he enjoyed the pantygram, and naughty pic's I sent even alot better.

I'm sure you'll find something delectible. If not, have a scavenger hunt. That was a WHOLE LOT OF FUN!!

Take care...and good luck!
Reply:Yes. A lunch date with YOU!

You pay for the lunch - perhaps on a Saturday afternoon.

Make him a card - ok, you may cheat by going to the card section of the store and get great ideas. Guys don't admit it but they never get "handmade" cards - just for them.

Now if you have any money left over (because you might get a new dress for this occasion), get him a small present - yes very small - like candy - you know those little hearts with those "sayings" on them like 'kiss me', etc.

Ask him to dress up - and take him to a nice restaurant but make sure it's a place where the two of you will be comfortable.

Now - for you - Show up wearing that spectacular dress that you look - so great, fine and awesome in.

Wear those stockings, nice jewlery, nice earrrings, and great perfume (if you can get pheromone - which has a different scent on everyone).

Do your nails and makeup - again you will look so fine!

Don't tell him where you're going - unless he's the kind that has to know.

Send him an electronic email card -

free electronic cards - www.123greetings.com - or other site.

- and write your invitation to the lunch with his special girl

as you personalize this electronic greeting card.

HE WILL REMEMBER THIS FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.

You will be described as "AMAZING" and be remembered by him "and to his friends as he will brag about what you did for him for the rest of your life. His friends will be jealous if their "girls" don't do anything special.

p.s. - don't ever tell him that the idea came from online, it's just between us girls!

GOD bless us one and all, always.

Best flower to send to someone?

its my girlfriends birthday soon and i love her very very much but im not sure what kind of flowers to get her..im getting them delivered to her house because we dont live anywhere near each other, but still, whats the best type of flower to say i love you and happy birthday and still look pretty all at once??

Best flower to send to someone?
I recommend roses! It is always the most outstanding flowers for the lovers!

http://super-sweet-date.com/ESS/romantic...

I believe that your gf will be very happy and appreciate for the flowers you send, it simply tells her that your mind is always caring for her and loving her.
Reply:My sister sent me Gerbera Daisies to me. The lived longer than I've ever seen anything live. So I bought some twice since then!

Ask your florist what lives the longest. That's the best...not just what people always send like carnations or roses. Carnations do live longer than roses though. I gave them to grandma for Valentines Day.

Also try freesias!
Reply:Meh, flowers and chocolates are all way overdue. Get her something worth her while that she'll actually use. Any electronic gadget (iPod, radio/stereo, laptop, etc) will really catch her attention.
Reply:ask her what color she likes, or pick one that has to do with her. Or something like, if you got together in the fall, pick a flower that reminds you of that season.
Reply:hey...i know every girl is different but i personally thing ROSES is more than enough to let her know you love her and happy bday to her!! But if you don't want to do that then you might want to get her flowers in her favorite color(s)...that'd be nice also. Don't have enough info to go on further so I hope you whatever you decide to get her that she enjoys 'em...God Bless!!
Reply:My favorite flower is Peony, they look like a big rose, but they are different. I think your girlfriend will appreciate if you give her something unique and not as predictable as Roses.

Some other fragrant flowers, like Gardenia, Fresia or Hyacinths are very nice too, because they are beautiful and the perfume is wonderful.Very romantic.

Deliver to my love one to philippines?

Hi..does anyone know a site where I can buy a teddy bear or a flower from UK and deliver it to philippines?..please help..because its my GF's birthday on June..thnx!!

Deliver to my love one to philippines?
I have to agree, send cash unless she's already filthy rich by Philippines standards. Girls do appreciate flowers and gifts - believe me. A lot of girls have romantic dreams of a guy doing all sorts of nice things for them - and if you're the guy to do it, she will remember you forever. So, if you're already supporting her financially - or she's rich, go ahead and send a nice gift.

I have had mixed experiences using online gift shops. Sometimes the items they advertise are not exactly what get delivered. Sometimes the things also arrive in a nice box - and other times in a dingy beat up box.

If you want to make the ultimate sacrifice (hey, it's love!!) I suggest you make a package in the UK yourself. Put different goodies in there. Teddy bear is nice, but don't forget to put in lots of shareables, like chocolate. Filipinas in most places share with their friends and they LOVE to show off that they have a boyfriend that cares enough about them to send them nice things on their birthday. By sending shareables, you enable her to give to her friends and make everyone happy - instead of simply showing off.

It's just advice though, your girl may be different from the regular Pinay. All I know is that all the girls I've met here would appreciate a little something for themselves, lots of shareables, and of course money. Money being the number one reason most girls find "foreigners." Money will let them help their family and/or buy nice things to illustrate they have a good boyfriend.

Anyway, if you follow my advice and send a package from the UK, make sure you wrap it up nice and then put it inside ANOTHER package. Line that one with bubblewrap or foamies - not newspaper. Then take that to your nearest FedEx, UPS or DHL and pay the price of love :)

Sending through regular mail is like playing the lottery that things get there at all.
Reply:Send her cash Justin. She probably needs that more than a teddy bear and she will appreciate that just as much. Its not tacky, its thoughtful because unless she is the daughter of a congressman, she needs the money very much. Good luck in your relationship. Go there.

Anyone Use ProFlowers?

I did and it was a joke! Flowers were supposed to be delivered on Thursday and didn't arrive till Monday. To top it off, they were completely dead. I called on Friday and got my money back. They tried to tell me I could only have a partial credit. I told them that the flowers would be 100% dead when they would arrive, if they ever would arrive. So they gave me all my money back.

They shipped using FedEx and were scheduled for Thursday. When they didn't arrive, I called on Friday morning. I was told that the truck had too many deliveries and they couldn't get to mine, but since they were left over from the previous day they would be the first to be delivered. Wrong! they didn't come till Monday and of course they were completely dead.

I'll never use ProFlowers again. I'll call a local florist or 1800flowers.com

Yahoo; Are you going to delete this post too?

Anyone Use ProFlowers?
I did and I never will again. Mine were frozen and went bad.
Reply:sorry nto sure
Reply:I dont think it was pro flowers fault though- I have had delays with fedex. They should not accept shipment if they cannot deliver as promised. I have had good flowers delivered with pro flowers although the person who orders always does it early so there is no rush-so I guess that is the secret?
Reply:I've never used them, but definitely won't now!! I'm sorry that you had such a terrible experience, but you're lucky they gave you your money back. I hope it didn't ruin your day!!
Reply:I bought from them for Mother's Day and got 2 dozen roses for my mom. She got them on Friday (I had chosen them to be delivered either Thursday or Friday) and they arrived beautifully. My mom said they died by Sunday or Monday. She called ProFlowers and they said that they would replace them and they did - with flowers that actually lived.

Part of the problem for you was FedEx. They are absolutely horrible becuse we've used them for mailing stuff and they always are delayed - claiming it is out of their control. One time made sense - it was when that tropical storm was in Florida, but this most recent time makes no sense. FedEx is who you should be more upset with.
Reply:We had a awkward experience but I think it had more to do with the delivery guy. It was for Mother's Day and he left them at the wrong house and left them on the uncovered porch (of the wrong house) in pouring rain. We called them and they said the flowers had been delivered and wouldn't refund since they had been signed for. A few days later the person returned home from vacation, recognized the name, and brought them to our mom. They were african violets so totally dead. We called them again and they were really good about it and sent her a brand new batch the next day and refunded part of our money.
Reply:I think local flowers are better. I have worked in a nursing home, and some people long distance sent their mother pro flowers, and some called the florists here. The florists here had prettier flowers and arrangements.
Reply:I agree, worst flower company ever. Roses looked horrible upon arrival and they died in two days. I get better flowers for cheaper from the local grocery store!!!

Advice on low cost advertising?

Have started a small new business delivering candy and flowers and have tried mailings, flyers and one ad in the local newspaper. Nothing has worked and I am down to about $100.00 in cash for the new business. Any ideas how to best use this last little bit?

Advice on low cost advertising?
you don't have to spend any more money if you try the press, cause really it's advertising. Write a letter to the editor (small business and minimum wage is a hot new topic) Also contact a reporter about women's issues women in local business(suggest a piece or series, and likely they will use you as their first story) and or lifestyle. Also try ( i know it's hard to afford) donating goods to charities; something they can auction off. They will put you in the program and get your product out there to a local audience. You know that who ever walks away with the prize has paid more than it has cost you, and when the get your 100% satisfactory service they will think of you every time they need candy and flowers, and will recommend you to their friends.
Reply:Try contacting your local media to get some free publicity for your business. Local newspaper, tv and radio stations love community and human interest stories. Want to really get their attention? Give them some free candy and flowers!

Have some flyers made up and distribute them every place you can think of: laundromats, apartment complexes, office buildings, etc. Just make sure you ask permission first.

Also, I'm really big on word of mouth advertising. Just tell everyone you meet about your business. Sooner or later it will pay dividends for you. Best of luck to you!

What's your USP? (the unique selling proposition: what is unique about your service?)

Most of the answers above are about "media" which is _how_ you contact prospects.

But that's only one ingredient - as you've discovered, unless you contact the right people WHO (those who are inclined and able to buy what you're selling) with the right message WHY, you're wasting money.

Reply:print attractive name cards, place it in hospitals, gym, convenient stores, etc.
Reply:I would recommend you using the remaining $100 to create a logo graphic design for your company if you haven't already. A logo adds credibility to your company and you can use it for a lot of things from T-shirts, to flyers, to customer bags, and of course, your website.

To advertise your company, find areas that you think are prone to being interested in your product and services (i.e. offices, downtown sidewalks, colleges, airports, bus depots, etc.), and personally hand out good looking invitations to try your company out. Offer them a free gift with their first order and perhaps a money back guarantee. Set up a good quality website (looks first, content second) if you haven't already and direct as many to it as possible. There are many local classifieds on the internet that are free. Talk to other local business owner's and find out what works for them. Believe it or not, I watch the TV show, "The Apprentice" to get marketing ideas.

I have provided you with a few classified websites to get started. You can do a search for "free classifieds" to find more online classified websites to advertise locally online for little or no cost.

Bottom line: make your money work for your business as efficiently as possible. examine your options before you spend any money towards your business. you would be surprised how much money is saved by finding it at the local library or on the internet.

-Small business owner since 1996
Reply:Here are a few:

Magnets with logos (Many People collect magnets)

Affiliate with local established companies which correspond with your business. Example, Hallmark stores are used by many people shoppping for gifts, cards, etc. See if you can place some ads at their counter top. Offer them a rental fee for their space (Say $40 /month) if they say no at first. Talk to a manager...

Their are many companies you can associate with, just figure out which ones would be best suited but not feel like competition.

Also, did you know you can talk to store managrs of many different companies to try to get your product on their shelves. Look into this, it could be very lucrative if you caught on with say a supermarket chain.

Advertise heavy at specific times of year pertaining to your craft. Example: Valentines Day.

June/July are heavy favorites for wedding months. Go to a bridal shop and try to get some ads going on there. Suit rental stores. Limousine rental places. Funeral parlors. etc.. etc...

Make a bumpersticker and place it on your car.

Good luck!

How deep should the soil be for a flowerbed?

I'm planning to order topsoil delivered for my perennial flower seedlings for my garden. These flowers will be 10" to 48" tall.

How deep should the soil be for the roots?

How deep should the soil be for a flowerbed?
If you are direct seeding most of perennials just take a light layer of dirt over them to sprout. There is no set depth unless you are planting annuals.

If you are buying perennials from a nursery, you plant them as deep as their root ball.

Tired Of Mothers Day?

Understand This! I love my Mother and every woman who has the grace to breath air and walk the planet! If it weren't for our Mothers we all wouldn't be here to play around on this great and wonderful forum. Women are the greatest gift God was kind enough to give Man. With that being said I being a Fedex Courier am truly exausted from delivering all those @^%$@@!^^%$!!! Flowers! Theres just so many of them and they won't stop coming! 110 stops or more for 4 days straight and all of them due by 3 p.m! I will drive my truck untill I keel over or they fire me but Mothers Day is dreaded by every Courier in America! That includes UPS and DHL! If they say they have no problem then they are lying! To all the Mothers out there. Thank you so much for putting up with the Earths greatest Pests (Men!) and have a wonderful and safe Mothers Day. I mean this from the bottom of my heart. Now to give My Wife her Flowers and the Diamond Ring I bought her. (still smiling) (O_O)

Tired Of Mothers Day?
Thanks, Phillip. This day is most hated for those of us who work for Hallmark like myself. I work for Hallmark in CVS stores and today was awful. I just got home after dodging people and trying to refill cards in two stores for 8 hours. =(

So Much for a Mother's Day for me! =)
Reply:i would like this opportunity to say happy mothers day to all the mothers out there, you do great jobs well some do lol, i mean we got kids out there who vandalise and do bad things.

they also drink alcohol, take drugs and smoke some of them that i see around.

edit: i blame some of the parents today that what society is today with all this bad behaviour drinking alcohol and the chavs on the street shouting abuse to people because they could not control their kids.
Reply:wouldn't it be just great if everybody was to hand deliver their flowers themselves as then the moms would have the added bonus of seeing their child a mother would value this more than a garland of flowers ,

Am I expecting too much from my wife?

Ok, so here is the situation. My wife and I recently celebrated our 6th anniversary. I always do something big for our anniversary (or valentines day, her birthday etc). Her not so much, i'm lucky to get a ecard for my birthday. This year she is overseas for a couple of months visiting her family. Still, i had flowers, chocolates, and card delivered to her and i called. She didn't do anything for me, for some reason it really hurt me this year (i think cause she is overseas and i'm alone here). When i asked her about it she said she said she felt she did everything she could (meaning she was at home for my phone call). She said we are just different, I'm very passionate about these things (b-days, anniversary etc) but for her they are important, just not important enough to do something for me.

I still feel very hurt and disappointed. But i just don't know I also think maybe i'm expecting too much from her. It would be nice to hear other people opinions.

Am I expecting too much from my wife?
In your words you said "she is overseas for a couple of months visiting her family." Did she marry you just to become a citizen? She's there during your 6th anniversary? This doesn't sound like a match made in heaven to me! If you have any kids with her, don't EVER let her take them back where her family is because there is the chance that you might NEVER see them again.
Reply:Sounds like your the only one in the marriage who wants the romance....!!! Stop sending her flowers/candy etc treat her like she wants to be treated! As far as being with her family on your Anniversary.. That's also BS.. She is probably married w/children where ever she is at the moment and their whole family is laughing at u cause you are so gullible.
Reply:It has always been the reverse in our relationship. My wife is the more thoughtful one and I am the forgetful one.

I've finally become more of the man she has needed and work very hard to let her know I care. It was never the fact that I didn't care but some things are not automatically as important to me. I don't need a big deal about my birthday and don't see much importance in making a big deal about our anniversary. To me the more important things are how we treat each other every day. However, I have learned to be more thoughtful with the passing of the years.

Hopefully, these things will become more important to your wife over time. Just keep treating her the way you want to be treated and perhaps she will learn.

fs
Reply:Wow, why can't you be MY husband?!! It's extremely hard to come by a MAN who actually is romantic and does things like that just because he cares, these days! I, myself, am a hopeless romantic and love, love, LOVE, giving little gifts to my significant other.

I don't think you are expecting too much of your wife at all. She is very lucky to have someone like you! I hope she soon realizes that. And i hope that I, one day, will find someone like you! :)
Reply:She's a selfish goldiggen pig!
Reply:if you've been married for 6 years you should know to expect this kind of treatment by now!!
Reply:Usually it is the wife complaining that she does all kinds of wonderful things and her husband and he does nothing for her.

It is just not your wife's thing and you need to put the hurt aside and just know to never expect anything, that way you never get disappointed.

I had a birthday last week. My husband bought me a card and put it in my lunchbox. That was better then any gift, because he remembered.
Reply:Well Brandon she pretty well explained to it to you by saying that this type of stuff just doesn't really rank that high on her priority list. Obviously you must have been aware that this was part of her make up prior to marrying her, so don't be so hard on her or yourself. Providing that she loves and respects you then what more really matters. And you were brave enough to let her know how it makes you feel, hopefully you two discussed this and the issue is resolved. If there are still feelings that you need to discuss further then do so when she returns. I'm certain you would have been hurt if she had been with you for your anniversary also, but in fact are probably missing her tremendously and so your feelings are a bit more sensitive as she is away. I like yourself am more of the romantic and some would say thoughtful partner, as Easter, Valentines and a lot of other special days don't really mean a lot to my partner either. But I was aware of this prior to us walking down the aisle so don't allow myself to feel somewhat lonely when she doesn't celebrate as much as I do on these occasions, but am very grateful she is in my life regardless. Best of luck.
Reply:This is a different form of abuse. Emotional. She is shut off emotionally and only feels something when she is making you "feel bad". She knows this. The reason it hurt you so much now is because your finally becoming aware of the fact that she doesn't truly care.
Reply:Some people don't care so much about things like birthdays and anniversaries as others. maybe it just doesn't matter to her, and she doesn't understand why it matters to you.

Still, I would have thought she could have made a bit more of an effort, seeing how much you care about it.

How does she beahve towards you generally? Is she nomrally affectionate and considerate?

I think it matters more how she treats you in general than whether she is interested in birthdays, anniversaries etc. On the other hand, if she is not attentive and affectionate to you in general, then the lack of interest in birthdays etc could be a symptom of a more general indifference towards you.

However, since she doesn't seem to care much about these things, maybe you should not make so mcuh effort yourself in future? Perhaps you would feel less aggrieved if you were not knocking yourself out to please her, without getting anything in return.
Reply:I don't blame you for feeling hurt and disappointed, but I would also have a serious talk about what you expect from your wife. Does she WANT you to send her chocolates and flowers, etc. etc.? Or do you do it because it's something you want her to do for you? Would you hear about it from her if you didn't do big things for her birthday/your anniversary/etc. - or would the day just pass?

I would never have put up with this for 6 years. My boyfriend and I talk about every birthday/holiday/anniversary before it happens. That way, we know what to expect.
Reply:Wow you really sound like a very passionate and sweet man....I'm so sorry your wife seemingly doesn't sound so romatic...But, there are still reasons as to why you married her. Try and concentrate on her stronger areas, and overlook her level or romanticism....You may also consider buying her gifts that you and she can enjoy together....Example: tickets to the theatre, or a romantic get away....Stay encouraged, and sweet.
Reply:It could have been how she was raised. Some people just don't make a big deal out of that type thing. My family is one of those families. We call on holidays and birthdays, but I can count on one hand the number of birthday cards I've received from my sisters and my mom does sometimes. I have to work at remembering to do things for people in my life. It's not that I don't want to do it and I feel really good about it when I do, but the thought doesn't come natural to me.
Reply:well she just seems a little selfish to me.I think you should stop doing all the things you do and see how she feels about that and why was she out of town on yalls anv thats just not right that is a very special day and she should have been with you.
Reply:sounds like u married someone with about as much compassion as a wet sponge
Reply:You should never give because you expect to receive.

People ARE different, you are just the girl in the relationship, deal.
Reply:No, she is just the type of person who isn't very "female" in that department. When I say that I mean that she is one of those types who doesn't worry about gifts, and some other things that other women/girls worry about. I'm in that category, unfortunately, and it caused my boyfriend to break up with me. I don't care for what other think, I don't make a big deal out of presents much, I''d rather not go shopping, I don't put on makeup a lot, and if I had to choose, I would stay home all day and watch funny romantic comedies. Now chances are she won't change and you can either accept her for what she is, or you can't. What SHE can do is at least make effort to make worry over your feelings, though. You should try talking to her again and be more specific.
Reply:you are expecting too much. Time for you not to be home when the phone rings from over-seas and start giving what you have been getting......nothing!!!!
Reply:You are not expecting too much at all. I would stop doing all these things for her. Then see if she thinks it's not important. She needs to put at least a little effort in.
Reply:First of all ignore the comments saying you are "a girl" or "are you sure you have a penis?" It's nice to for a guy to actually be able to admit he has such needs. You need to tell her that it hurts your feelings when she doesn't do something special for occasions. Tell her you'd appreciate it if she would do something nice for you on the next special occasion. If she doesn't, then remind her again. If she still doesn't, then you may have to just accept the fact that things like this are never going to be a big deal to her. Families are different and what feels normal to her will usually be the way her family honored such occasions. However, I would wonder how much she really cares about your needs if you ask her to do something for occasions, (even something small), and she continues not to do it. Then you have the choice of whether or not you want to stay in a relationship with someone who has little regard for your feelings? Also, factor in how well she treats you in other aspects of the marriage. If it's ALL about her then that's a problem.
Reply:Are you sure you're the one with a penis in this relationship? Sounds like you two have the gender roles reversed.
Reply:Ever heard of the expression, 'Treat them mean and keep them keen.' ....Personally I think you are going overboard and should tone it down a bit....

What other Valentine's day gifts can I give to my girlfriend?

I was thinking about ordering a nice bouquet of flowers and having them delivered to her workplace as a surprise. Then, I found this nice red/maroon bear, not too big not too small, that I can give to her. Finally, I was thinking about a nice dinner at a steakhouse or something like that....not too fancy, but formal-casual. Are these nice gifts or can give more? Our relationship will be at 2 months after the week of Valentine's Day.

What other Valentine's day gifts can I give to my girlfriend?
Everything you suggested sounds lovely. Don't go overboard though - your relationship is fairly new.

You know your situation best so it's hard for someone who doesn't know you to give definite advice. I know I personally would love to get flowers at work. It's a great surprise and I'm the type of person who would love the attention I would get at work when the flowers come! You have to judge whether your girlfriend would feel the same way.

You sound very romantic and thoughtful. Follow your common sense first and your heart a little too.

I hope you and your girlfriend have a very Happy Valentine's day!
Reply:it sounds really nice! there is nothing more you need to give her I think you covered everything! I am sure she is going to be a happy girl! What your getting her is perfect especially that you haven't been dating that long. I hope the two of you have a special valentine's day!!!
Reply:That's a really good idea, just make sure you dont tell her about the flowers. my bf told me he's getting flowers delivered and its not as exciting.

And the teddy bear's a good idea 2 and dinner is also a good idea.

you're onto it!!
Reply:The things you have planned are considered typical Valentine's gifts. There's nothing wrong with them, they actually sound nice!!! If you want to do something REALLY nice for your girlfriend then try doing something sentimental that she'll be able to see you really care! Try making something or doing something extra special! If you're not that creative or can't think of anything to do, try this website below. It has A LOT of great ideas!

Do women enjoy a day out shopping?

today is our 10 year anniversary. we are not wealthy but i do what i can for my wife. my job requires me to work 12 hour shifts overnight so i suffer from sleep apnea so i have no choice but to sleep during the day between shifts. unfortunately our anniversary falls on one of those days this year. so friday i had flowers (that cost $160) delivered to my wife to enjoy at work and over this weekend. i wasn't sure what else to give here given our modest income so i had worked some overtime the week before and told her i was leting her go on a shopping spree today for her anniversary present and that she could spend $500 buying things that make her feel nice and pretty. was this a stupid idea? bad gift? i really want to know.

Do women enjoy a day out shopping?
if you can afford it, then fine. as far as $160 flower arrangement, flowers die so quickly that spending that much on flowers is a little crazy, but is a nice gesture. are you goiong with her when she's shopping? that might be nice. can you take off from work? being with you might mean more than just shopping. unfortunately, this question is a litttle late for asking...if the gift comes from the heart, then it's nice.
Reply:no i hate shopping.
Reply:I hate shopping personality
Reply:what a great guy-- darlin, i'll take 2 of you to go, hold the wife!!
Reply:That sounds like a nice gift. Your a sweet man. Chances are, she'll be able to see the sacarfice you are making for her, and that will make her feel special.

Reply:My feeling on this is ..... support your local florist.....dont do the martha stewart thing. (sorry martha...love you girl, but local florists are becoming a dying breed). They probably won't be able to deliver them on sunday. But as a mom...I'd love them on friday....have them all weekend....brag to the friends. My mom is a florist and everyone in her shop is above 60, and they make very little money compared to the chain groceries and the on-line florists.....support them if you can. It's the way to get the best quality. They will be able to use their wire service to get the flowers where they need to go. But seriously......I'd go for friday.
Reply:Try Interflora - not sure which country you are in but they do have delivery from online orders across quite a few countries.
Reply:Call a local florist. They can send flowers by FTD to your mother. I agree with the person who said to support your local florist.

Cousin died, think that i did enough?i last saw him 15 years ago & 20+ yrs since i saw his parents?

i'm on the east coast he is on the west coast. as soon as i heard of his passing i went online and ordered flowers and had them delivered to the family. i put my brother and father's name also along with mine on the card to let the family know that you are sorry for the loss. i couldn't fly out there for the funeral because the cost of the flight was expensive. even tho i think that flowers are enough, when i spoke to my dad he told me over and over and over again literally 10 times to call them. i'm extremely irritated. when people are freshly mourning telling someone that you are sorry for their loss over the phone doesn't seem like it's very consoling. i'm also irritated that my dad seems so excited that i'm talking to this side of the family who are asian, but doesn't seem to care about his side of the family who is black and that's y i think he is bugging about me calling. i did tell him that i would call them in a week or two but that wasn't good enough for him. what do u think?

Cousin died, think that i did enough?i last saw him 15 years ago %26amp; 20+ yrs since i saw his parents?
When you haven't been in contact with family for a long time due to distance, you did exactly what is appropriate. And that should be enough. If you want to look to See if the funeral home has on line condolences, and send a email saying sorry I can't be with you in your time of sorrow.
Reply:When some one in your family dies it is customary to express your condolences for their lose, you sent flowers, you said you would call, as long as you do, I don't think your father needs to pressure you any furthur.

However, you mention at least twice that your fathers side of the family is Asian, I fail to see what that has to do with anything.
Reply:Unless you can prove that there is any racist involvment, I would say that you should just tell him that we have different ways of dealing with someones death,

Everyone does it differently and so everyone will have a different opinion. He should not be interfering with what you think is right.

CREED
Reply:Give them a call, I think they would appreciate you more, it is more personal with a phone call.
Reply:You are old enough to make your own decisions. But with that being said, even though they are hurting, hearing your voice would be somewhat of a comfort to them. Just call and tell them how sorry you are and let them know that you are there if they need to talk. You don't know how much just hearing you say that would mean to them. Start dialing.......
Reply:I think it would be very nice if you would sit down and write them a letter. In the letter, express your sympathy and then you could write some very special memories about the cousin which might comfort them at this time. The phone call, as you indicated, might be hard right now because they are mourning and probably won't even remember details of the conversation. You know, you get so involved and are feeling all kinds of emotions that the days all run together when you are going through all that is involved after a death. I am sure they would understand your not coming to the west coast but the fact that you sent flowers will be appreciated. Regarding your letter; it is very comforting to have words on paper that you can go back and read after the funeral and when you are alone. Memories help sustain each of us as we go through our losses. Write the note and then, if you feel you would like to talk to the family, call in a few weeks when things are a little less chaotic. Don't be mad at your Dad. He is probably happy that you have a link with the other side of the family and that is a good thing. Whatever is his reason for not having dealings with his own family is between he and them. Don't let his feelings and thoughts interfere with how you are feeling and what you are doing. It has to be what is right for you and it has to be for the proper reasons. Tell him that if he chooses to call, then he should do it but that you are handling it the way you think it makes more sense and then do it your own way. Rekindling the family ties may be a good thing for you. You do live on different coasts so it is hard to have a close relationship but, you are showing them that you are part of the family and are sharing in this loss even though you are a distance from them. That is what families are for; they support one another in time of need.
Reply:I often think when something like this happens alot of guilt and anger are directed at the wrong people. i don't know your family situation but flowers are a nice way to show you are feeling there loss. try a letter its always better than a phone call and says much more.

I would like to enquire about the flower supplier where they do deliver the fresh flower daily?

If you're talking about flowers that could be obtained locally, most florist got theirs from Genting and deliver the freshly cut flowers to florists in malaysia that ordered them. If you are talking about flowers that has to be imported, florists would have a network with their counterparts who would then deliver them by plane.

Something to deliver at work for Valentines?

My boyfriend and I have been together 2yrs and in addition to me making him dinner and a few small presants, I wanted to send him something at work on Valentines Day, just to let him know how speicial he is to me and to make him feel special throughout the day. He is 24. Do men get embarresed by getting some flowers, or balloons or somehting delivered on Valentines Day? Or does anyone have any other suggestions of what they would like?

Something to deliver at work for Valentines?
Why not have a meal for lunch delivered to him at work. I'd think places would do little things for Valentines Day or pick it up and deliver it to him yourself and have lunch with him. Guys are really not into getting flowers.
Reply:Embarassing your man is not really the issue, its office politics and office policy. Call his secretary or the receptionist and ask her if its acceptable or has been done before. If she is helpful, I'd send along a thank you card or a tiny box of candy for her too---its always good to have the ppl at the front desk on your side. If she says its a no go, then send it to his house. As for suggestions, I once bought a whole bunch of those trial size items from the pharmacy and a box of valentines...wrapped them and left them with all the people who my husband sees during the day (his routine is predictable and he works a sales route that rarely changes). People had great fun giving him the gifts which included: toothpaste, shampoo, soap, new tie, new shirt, belt, tie clip, shave cream, a disposable razor, comb, two hershey's kisses, and an invite to dinner.....was soooo much fun for me....and the people who helped got into it too.....his secretary took like five of them and put them in his office, his mailbox, his computer case......was great fun.... enjoy!
Reply:it is ok to send man flowers it 2007 not the 80s or 90s
Reply:There are so many things you can get delivered now that have a manly theme to them. Baskets full of stuff for golfing and football. I would send something along those lines rather than balloons and flowers. Call your local florist I am sure they can tell you what they have especially for men this year.
Reply:be careful....some men take offense to flowers being sent to the office...u will need to know how he feels about this first and if u have been going out for 2 years already....u probably know which type of person he is...

enjoy life!
Reply:Some do get embarrassed and some don't. How outgoing is your boyfriend? The only other suggestion would be have cookies delivered to him. Go to Mrs. Fields and see if they'll do it, or go on line. You only have today to decide.
Reply:dont do it at work, a bit too cheesy and emabarrising for my linking, what about decorating his car in the mornign before work that is cute, writing something on the window etc, leaving something in his car etc. a cute mix CD in the stero . . .
Reply:Yeah they do get embarrased but send the flowers and balloons to him at his house.:)

Reply:Sure, you can just go to http://Online-Florists.reviews-n-ratings... for great gift ideas, reviews of online forists and fancy chocolate/cookies. Those things are traditional because the majority of ladies love them! There's something sweet about a guy who sends his love flowers and chocolates. The link above also offers other gift ideas too. THEY WILL DELIVER WORLDWIDE TOO!
Reply:I've done this a number of times to have flowers delivered to New Zealand, Beijing, etc. Just do a search for flower delivery Dubai. When I searched for this I received a number of possibilities. Good luck.

I don't understand why i feel guilty when my husband is nice to me.?

It's been over a year since i told him to leave, which took him by suprise and now that he has 'woken up' he has tried in his meager way to improve and impress. But my heart went years ago. It took A LOT of courage to finally tell him to go. I had said to myself " I must be worth something" and so i want to move on a find a loving relationship and a good role model for our 5 children aged 19 - 3 yrs. But my husband and i are still in the house together though we have been sleeping separately for 8 months. I try to be amicable and polite. I'm a person who can't hurt people. I live with guilt because when my husband is nice to me i get angry and i don't like me when i'm angry. For Valentine he gave me chocolates, card and delivered bunches of flowers, plus invitations to the movies. Too much and too late. But why do i feel guilty when he is nice to me?? And how do i get rid of it?

I don't understand why i feel guilty when my husband is nice to me.?
Stop falling for his guilt tactics. He knows exactly what buttons to push.
Reply:You feel guilty because he is trying and you are done. So end it already. You are torturing each other in this farce of a marriage, IF you can't find away to love him again then get out so you can both find someone to be happy with while you are still alive.
Reply:best answer is to move on ..I know it's not as easy as it sound
Reply:How is he with the kids? If he is an active father to his children? Their relationship with their father should probably trump any personal feelings you have or don't have for each other. Gotta look out for what is best for the kids first. You signed your right to be happy over when you had them.
Reply:When someone has "emotionally divorced" from the relationship, it is often hard for any type of living arrangement to work without these types of feelings. I would suggest counseling if you want to try and get back what you had. Otherwise, I would move out and get the children out of the environment. You'll be happier, they won't pick up on the issues you two have, and you won't have to keep feeling how you are. Also, if you haven't I would ask he do no gift-giving. I'm sure you've done that thought! :)
Reply:It could be a little regret too. Not that you aren't "together" anymore, but that it failed. A failed marriage takes a toll whether it seem s like it or not. The only way to get rid of it is to move on...both of you.
Reply:Get you own place already!
Reply:It's kinda hard to tell someone to leave if you are planning to still live under the same roof. He's getting mixed signals. I'd be confused, too. If you're still married, and still live together but you want to be divorced, you need to move out, or he needs to move out. If you are staying together for the kids or for financial reasons, you need to go to counselling and try to work on your marriage. You need to see a therapist on your own, too. You may find that you still have intimate feelings for him, if you give yourself a chance to heal.

I need your opinion about this girl......?

you see there is this girl that i liked and so on valentines day, i surprised her by going to her class and delivering those flowers. right afterwards, we went outside and she kissed me. but the day afterwards, i tried to talk to her but she has been somewhat avoiding me. can anyone tell me what they think is going on? or tell me what i can/should do to determine if she really likes me?

I need your opinion about this girl......?
keep trying. It's possible she was in a rush, or is thinking things over. Pull back a little bit on your approach. Don't go at it as "i gave you flowers, we kissed, come date me' but just try to establish a slowly-building relationship. If she keeps avoiding her, the only thing you can do is find her some time and ask point blank if there is something she has on her mind against you. Depending on her response, subtly keep pursuing a relationship with her, try to just be friends, or set your gaze elsewhere after a gradual goodbye
Reply:wow, i dunno. sorry but i dont. maybe talking to you is awkward to her now. maybe she did something to embarrass herself rather you know it or not. who knows? maybe she thinks she was a bad kisser or something??
Reply:sounds like she got caught up in the V-Day moment
Reply:She clearly is a material girl. Everytime you approach her have a gift readily available. Or find a girl who isn't some weirdo. Either way
Reply:If she likes you she would be 110% into you...now she is afraid of what could happen....confront her and get it panned out so you don't waste no time...there is to many girls to waste your time on one!!!!
